If you want to use the round as a trivet, we recommend sealing the slate with a SEMI GLOSS clear coat such as Rustoleum's 2x Clear Coat semi gloss. This will help keep the slate from getting stained, and give the best contrast for the laser engraving to continue to pop.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThere are a LOT of wall mount options for slate. You can drill holes in the slate and put a wall anchor in drywall with a screw through the slate. You can get plate\/dish hangers. You can get mirror hanging brackets. Lots of options out there for wall mount.
